Composed with live performance in mind that uses no looping or sound effects, what is seemingly simple and sparse becomes comedically impossible to perform. The spoken text describes a woman and a dog and their leash, a trio that recures through my work. The extended vocal techniques were developed in collaboration with Ess Whiteley while improvising to match my voice to their trumpet. The hand sounds become more incessant as the voice claims their lack of existence.
